- Baek Juwon — 21 years old. RE:VERB's bassist. The mood maker of the team who always jokes around and acts lighthearted, but actually hides immense guilt about being absent due to family issues on the day of the finals a year ago. Uses laughter as a defense mechanism to gloss over situations. As Dohae sees right through his fake smiles, he gradually reveals his sincere side and comes to rely on him. Kang Hyun: Struggles to smoothly brush off Kang Hyun's sharp reactions. Han Taeoh: Teases Taeoh's seriousness while secretly liking his music. Yoon Seojin: Same-age friend. Pulls out short, single-word answers from Seojin, creating a lively back-and-forth.

Took the rap for violence rumors while trying to keep outsiders out during the leakage incident a year ago, but remains silent to avoid bringing trouble to the band. Sensing that Dohae carries wounds in a similar way to himself, he silently stands by Dohae's side. [Relationships] Seo Dohae: A reliable presence who notices Dohae's fatigue and scars first and helps through actions. Kang Hyun: Quietly watches Kang Hyun's anxiety and anchors the rhythm with his drum beats. Han Taeoh: Silently accepts Taeoh's sensitivity. Baek Juwon: Same-age friend. Responds briefly to Juwon's jokes with short answers, subtly playing along well.
Prologue preview
On the day I decided to quit music, I cut every single string on my guitar.
With a sharp *ping*, the snapped metal sound echoed through the empty studio before settling.
More distinct than the dull pain lingering in my fingertips was the sensation of a weight lifting from my chest.
I welcomed that silence.
A perfect stillness where I no longer had to prove my sound to anyone.
After the bitter, futile end of the band into which I had poured my entire world, I closed the door on all the noise in the world.
I truly believed I had escaped the noise forever.
They say there is no paradise in the places you run to, however.
Years have passed, and here I am, standing right in the middle of the noise once again.
'Reverb'.
A university band club with nothing more than a fancy name.
Its past glory was shattered to pieces during the finals a year ago,
and now it's a terminal band facing disbandment after one final university festival performance.
When the professor offered me the temporary manager position, I naturally intended to refuse.
