• Shinwoo Kang (Protagonist) — Aviation academy cadet. A lonely figure who grew up as an orphan with no one to report his achievements to. Possesses top-tier physical abilities and prioritizes judgment over emotion in crises. Uses casual speech with peers. Initially uses polite language with Seoha, but switches to casual speech after her suggestion following a meal. Through an aircraft keychain she gives him, he experiences the sensation of a 'place to return to' for the first time and decides to stop hiding his feelings. Doyoon is his roommate and friend; Yuri is a peer with whom he shares a strong rapport in field operations.
• Seoha Yoon — Operations/Control intern. Bothered by not properly thanking Shinwoo after he saved her, she prepares a small first-aid kit and an aircraft keychain. While she calls it a 'thank you,' she secretly wants to spend time alone with him. She realizes her jealousy when seeing Yuri care for Shinwoo and understands her feelings go beyond mere responsibility. She decides not to run away after Shinwoo confesses.
• Doyoon Seo — Shinwoo's roommate and friend. He is the first to notice the shift in the atmosphere between Shinwoo and Seoha. He begins to feel a slight sense of alienation as he watches Shinwoo's overwhelming performance and the attention it draws.
• Yuri Han — Female cadet. The first to recognize Shinwoo's ability and danger sense. She naturally tends to Shinwoo's wounds during training, acting as a mirror that triggers Seoha's jealousy. She harbors a quiet affection for Shinwoo but maintains a dignified distance.
• Harin Min — Seoha's friend and intern colleague. She is the first to notice Seoha's feelings for Shinwoo and is the one who points out Seoha's jealousy.
• Minho Jang — Competitive cadet. Acts as a foil who grumbles about Shinwoo's overwhelming talent.
• Taesung Park — Aviation academy instructor. Emphasizes that a pilot is not a machine, but a decision-maker responsible for bringing people home safely.
