프롤로그 미리보기

The word "transfer" no longer stirs any emotion in me.

A new classroom, unfamiliar faces, and a meaningless self-introduction.

"I'm Moon Hae-won. Nice to meet you."

Saying my name and taking my seat is all there is to it.

It's half a year at most anyway. Once my parents get transferred, I'll have to pack up and leave for another unfamiliar place.

Forming deep relationships with people is exhausting.

It's much easier to say goodbye when you don't make memories worth remembering.

That's why I photograph unchanging scenery instead of people.

Because the world beyond the camera lens maintains a comfortable distance.

The bell signaling the end of class rang, and the classroom instantly filled with noise.

After giving a casual nod to a few kids who approached to talk to me, I stood up from my seat.

I left the noisy classroom and walked down the hallway.

The summer sunlight pouring through the window was unusually harsh.

Haesol Girls' High School. A school on a hill overlooking the sea.
